Having rejoined the business after 3 years away, I lead Woodway’s marketing efforts, driving brand strategy and implementing marketing initiatives aligned with commercial goals. My work includes overseeing brand development, website enhancements, improving the customer journey, and creating marketing strategies that support a sales-driven leadership team. I deliver creative, targeted campaigns that strengthen Woodway’s market position and support the launch of new product lines.

 

Balancing strategic planning with hands-on implementation, I manage everything from marketing materials to PR, social media, and events. By fostering strong relationships both internally and externally, I ensure marketing efforts align with business objectives to enhance brand visibility, drive growth, and deliver measurable results.

Consensus Support Services

Leading the transformation of marketing and communications at Consensus, I drove change across brand, culture, and engagement. From leading a full-scale rebrand to securing recognition as one of 2024’s Best Workplaces and a Great Place to work - my work was all about creating clarity, alignment, and impact - ensuring our message resonated with the right audiences, both internally and externally.

 

With a focus on strategy and storytelling, I redefined our brand proposition, developed employer branding, and embedded our vision and values into the fabric of the organisation. I introduced ESG initiatives, overhauled internal engagement, and strengthened external communications, ensuring we were not only visible but trusted. An amazing role for an organisation committed to making every moment matter for the people they support.

Horizon Care & Education

Brought in to establish Horizon’s first-ever marketing function, I built the department from the ground up—introducing a cohesive brand identity, developing the organisation’s first internal communications strategy, and launching a digital presence that strengthened reputation and engagement.

A key focus was unifying disparate divisions under one strategic direction, creating a brand and communications approach that connected colleagues, stakeholders, and the people we support. I led a full-scale rebrand, developed a new website, and introduced strategic marketing initiatives that shaped how the organisation tells its story—both internally and externally.

So Betty

I founded and grew So Betty, a B2C creative e-commerce business offering personalised prints, bespoke wedding stationery, and graphic design services. The business was driven by a passion for unique, high-quality products and exceptional customer experiences, leading to consistent year-on-year growth. Strategic use of digital marketing, brand development, and customer engagement ensured the business consistently stood out in a competitive marketplace.

 

Alongside my creative work, I led all marketing efforts, developed and expanded product ranges, and oversaw operations, including managing a small team of subcontractors to meet customer demand. With a focus on innovation and attention to detail, I built a strong, loyal customer base and maintained a 100% 5-star review record throughout the business's lifespan.

Mumpreneur UK

At the age of 21, I launched Mumpreneur UK, an initiative dedicated to supporting and celebrating parent-run businesses. Starting with no customer base or budget, I created a thriving network of over 5,000 members, hosting an annual conference and awards to connect and inspire small business owners across the UK. These sell-out events secured sponsorship from leading brands such as Amazon, Intuit, and LinkedIn, alongside high-profile speakers and judges, while showcasing the talent and tenacity of parent entrepreneurs.

My efforts earned national recognition, including a personal invitation to 10 Downing Street from the Prime Minister in recognition of my contribution to Women’s Enterprise. Through workshops, events, and digital support, I empowered countless parent-run businesses, building a lasting legacy within this unique community.

Ella Announcements

Ella Announcements was my first venture, launched as a teenage mum with no initial investment. The business provided custom stationery to parents and small businesses, blending creativity with a strategic focus on customer service and brand loyalty. From the outset, I established a profitable business model, leveraging organic marketing and distribution partnerships to rapidly expand, with one partner later acquiring the business in 2011.

The business received multiple awards, including Overall Winner at the Vivid Green Awards and Young Entrepreneur of the Year. I also mentored other young parents, helping some launch their own ventures. Running Ella Announcements laid the foundation for my entrepreneurial journey, showcasing the value of determination, adaptability, and putting the customer at the heart of every decision.
